why we give

Jesus taught that our attitudes about money indicate the affections of our hearts. Paul taught that if we are loved by God and love Him in return we will give cheerfully, sacrificially, and regularly.

Hodge UPC teaches that God is the owner of everything, including our money and possessions. When we give, we give back to God what He already owns. Our giving is an indication of trust, discipleship, and commitment. Hodge UPC is supported by the generous giving of our friends and regular attendees. Thanks for your generosity as we try to meet the needs of those in our church and our community!
